brief introduction


PPH tube (alloy polypropylene pipe) is modified by ordinary PP material with beta modification, so that it has a uniform and fine Beta crystal structure. It has excellent chemical corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, good insulation and high temperature resistance. The working temperature can reach 100 degrees centigrade, non-toxic, light weight, easy to transport and install. This is a superior quality product that is superior to PP tube in high temperature, corrosion resistance and anti-aging.


The production of alloy polypropylene (PPH) pipe, pipe fittings, in line with German DIN 8077 / 78 standard.


Material characteristics


Chemical resistance: among all polypropylene pipes, the (β) - PPH pipe has the strongest chemical resistance.


Long life - beta - (β) - PPH tube has longer service life and higher system safety.


Impact strength: compared with the traditional (α) - PPH tube, (β) - PPH tube has significant low-temperature impact strength.


Temperature resistance: according to the actual application, the applicable temperature range of (β) - pp-h pipe is from - 20 ℃ to + 110 ℃.


Pressure resistance: among all polypropylene materials used in pipeline system, (β) - PPH pipe has the highest pressure resistance (mrs10).

Welding process


The connection methods include butt welding, hot-melt socket, electric fusion socket and flange connection.


1、 Materials


PPH tube is made of high density polypropylene (PPH) with antioxidant, anti ultraviolet agent and pigment. PPH tube has the characteristics of good heat setting, high temperature resistance, chemical resistance, creep, high tension, good insulation, insoluble in organic solvents, non cracking, non-toxic and so on. It is suitable for chemical factories, electronic semiconductor factories, pharmaceutical factories, sewage treatment plants and other industries. It has been widely used in high acid and alkali chemical products transportation system, pure water transportation system, drinking water transportation system, sewage and wastewater transportation system, environmental engineering and general pipeline system, and telecommunication optical cable transmission and distribution pipeline system.


2、 Welding machine


The welding of PPH pipe is hot-melt welding, using various specifications of hydraulic or manual plastic pipe hot-melt welding machine. Taking the hydraulic plastic pipe welding machine as an example, the welding is mainly divided into three parts: welding machine control platform, welding operation platform and tool placing rack.


3、 Welding preparation


For pipe cutter (pipe cutter), acetone and clean cloth, the surrounding environment shall be kept clean and free from dust, and the ambient temperature shall not be lower than 0 ℃.


4、 Hot melt welding


Welding is mainly divided into 7 steps: blanking, preheating, butt welding, heating, welding, cooling and inspection.


1. Blanking: use special cutter to cut the pipe according to the required size. When cutting the pipe, pay attention not to run the line and slowly screw into the blade, do not too fast, it will damage the blade. When the cutter is difficult to rotate, rotate the cutter reversely, take out the blade and run the line again.


2. Preheating: adjust the preheating pressure to the required welding pressure with hydraulic regulating valve. Adjustment method: lock the heating relief valve, push the hydraulic operating lever forward, and watch the pressure gauge display pressure. When the required pressure is not reached, loosen the heating relief valve to reduce the pressure gauge display to zero, readjust the hydraulic control valve, and then lock the heating relief valve until the pressure reaches the required pressure. The temperature setting panel on the welding machine control platform is used to set the temperature of hot-melt welding, and the temperature of heating plate is controlled to match the melting of welding surface. Red shows the set temperature, green shows the current temperature, when the red light on the panel jumps to the green light, hot-melt welding can be carried out. The melting temperature of PPH is generally set between 195 ℃ and 205 ℃.


3. Counterpart


① Select the appropriate mold and fix the welding pipe section on the operation platform with a wrench;


Attention: during fixing, the fastening screws at both ends of the fixture should be tightened step by step to avoid the pipe section being not horizontal; when the hydraulic operating rod is retreated to the maximum, the distance between the two pipe sections shall not be less than the thickness of the electric cutting machine; the welding surface of each pipe section shall protrude from the fixture by 40 ~ 50 mm, and when the pipe section is long, the whole body shall be horizontal.


② Push the hydraulic operating lever to the maximum, and connect the two pipe sections. Visually inspect the staggered joint of the welding surface, and touch the lower half surface by hand to make the two joints horizontal. If the requirements are not met, the welding seam can be leveled without dislocation by adjusting the fastening screws at both ends;


③ Visually inspect the joint of two welding surfaces to ensure that there is no obvious gap in the joint; if there is, grind the joint with electric cutting machine. Put the cutting machine on the operating frame, start the cutting machine, and then another person controls the hydraulic push rod to hold the pipe section against the cutting machine at the set pressure; visually inspect the cutting of the welding surface until the welding surface is even. Back up the hydraulic fixture, take out the cutting machine and put it back into the tool holder;


Note: do not stop the cutting machine in a hurry after backing up the hydraulic fixture. Let the cutting machine rotate several times before taking it out. It can make the welding surface smoother and prevent cross section.


④ Clean the welding surface and clean the welding surface with a clean cloth dipped in a small amount of acetone.


4. Heating


Take out the heating plate which has reached the required temperature from the tool holder. It is placed on the operation frame, one side is against the welding surface, and the other side is pushed forward to make the pressure reach the required welding pressure. When the hot-melt flanging of the welding surface reaches 1 mm, the heating pressure relief valve is released and the heating pressure is removed. After waiting for a period of time, the requirements of hot-melt butt welding of welding surface are met.


Note: the heating plate must be placed vertically.


Usage features


1. Long service life: under the condition of rated temperature and pressure, it can be safely used for more than 50 years.


2. Excellent corrosion resistance: the product can withstand the corrosion of high concentration acid and alkali in the pH range of 1-14 in a wide range.


3. Heat resistance, heat preservation and energy saving: the thermal conductivity of the product is small and has good heat preservation performance.


4. Reliable connection performance: the strength of the hot-melt joint of the product is higher than that of the pipe body, and the joint will not be broken due to soil movement or load.


5. Good construction performance: the product is light in weight, simple in welding process, convenient in construction, low in engineering comprehensive cost, and can meet the requirements of complex process pipeline.
